Ashley and family drove down from Clovis for a special Deluxe maternity session and family portrait session. Ashley saw my creek photos and felt shooting the family near water would be ideal. Hubby wanted a mountain feel to the family photos as well so we needed a new location to fit both.
We went to Mountain Park Events which were kind enough to take us in on short notice. I was hoping we would get some fall foliage along with some beautiful water.
Since this was a Deluxe Maternity session we were going to do three outfits and Ashley chose this beautiful white open belly gown which worked so well against the fall backdrop.
Waterfall shots are always popular and we were able to take advantage of here. The love between this couple just seemed so powerful. I loved capturing this moment between them.
The second part of our session was at White Sands National Monument where Ashley wore her third outfit. She picked out this raspberry open belly outfit which always looks so great against the white sand.
Hubby took off his shirt for this shot and it just made a perfect intimate moment with belly touching belly. The sun started to set and the golden glow set in.
I then waited just a few more minutes and took this sunset photo. This couple had quite the drive for a maternity session but the scenery just came out perfect. I wish them all the best.
