Vanessa and I talked quite a bit about planning her maternity session. She was coming up from El Paso and we debated between a mountain shoot or the creek. After looking over some of my previous sessions she opted for the creek.
I went ahead and put her in one of my new bohemian style dress that had a beautiful navy color. She had looked at my dress collection online but after looking at the dresses in person we went ahead with this one. I think it looks so beautiful on her.
The goal at the creek was to get some shots with the running water. The creek wasn't as full as some of the previous shoots but Vanessa was brave enough to sit down in the cool water for this shot.
Hubby joined us for some of the shots showing how proud he was as a future dad.
This photo was nearly an accident photo as he stepped back to be out of the shot then I realized we could do something cute with this. I really liked how this came out. I enjoyed the time I spent with Vanessa and look forward to our future newborn session.
