I've always wanted to do a Princess shoot or something similar. Since I live nearby White Sands National Monument I thought doing a desert princess like Jasmine from Aladdin would be a fun shoot.
I created a little tent using fabrics and other material, found some other goodies and painted them and applied jewels on the side to give it that special touch.
I also picked up an official Jasmine outfit that I happened to find at a store that matched the size of my subject as well as many of the accessories that would go with the costume.
Probably the hardest part of the shoot was the time we were shooting and the heat. It was fortunately cooler this day in the high 80's and low 90's considering the previous day broke over 100 degrees. Fortunately my subject played along even though she was hot and helped me take some really great photos.
