Alamogordo, NM, is located near some of the most scenic locations in our state. First off, we have White Sands National Park with beautiful snow white-like dunes nestled between two mountain ranges with some of the most majestic views. The sunsets there are just breathtaking, and it's one of the most common locations where we perform maternity or couples shoots. Many couples like to do their engagement sessions there or maybe even a surprise proposal at this magical place. Alamogordo is also near Cloudcroft and High Rolls, located in the mountains. Some locations are full of beautiful evergreen trees that stay green year-round, while other locations have trees with excellent golden and red colors during fall. Areas like this are trendy for family sessions during this limited time period. The mountains are a wonderful escape during the hot summer months as well.

Since our scenic portrait photography is done outdoors and due to light restrictions, there is a limit of one per day. Because of this, the popularity of our locations for these sessions is typically booked months in advance. This is truer if you want a session on a weekend as I have many clients from out of town to have sessions done at White Sands National park or in the mountains of Cloudcroft.
