Elopement and Wedding Portrait Photography

Alamogordo, NM, is located near some of the most scenic locations which is popular for elopement and wedding sessions.  White Sands National Park with beautiful snow white-like dunes nestled between two mountain ranges with some of the most majestic views. The sunsets there are just breathtaking, and it's one of the most common locations where we perform proposals (even surprise ones), engagement sessions, and elopement photo sessions.   Alamogordo is also near Cloudcroft and High Rolls, located in the mountains. Some locations are full of beautiful evergreen trees that stay green year-round, while other locations have trees with excellent golden and red colors during fall. Areas like this are trendy for those special photo sessions during this limited time period. The mountains are a wonderful escape during the hot summer months as well.
 
I'm a natural light photographer so I normally do these sessions close to sunset for softer light and weekends tend to be the most common request for these sessions so I suggest booking with me months in advance to ensure availability.  Since I do this full time I am available weekdays as well when the parks and locations are less crowded.  

 

I don't do night sessions for full event sessions such as receptions since I'm more of a portrait photographer.  If you are looking for more of a full wedding photographer I'll be happy to recommend a few.  If you just want some bridal or couple photos at the studio we can do that as well by checking out my studio portrait page.
